New Online Course! Smaller Gas Field Development Options

This course will provide an overview of the challenges associated with the development of smaller gas fields where large-scale development routes such as long-distance pipeline or LNG are not viable. Various technologies that can be used to develop such fields will be identified and information on the technical maturity of these technologies will be provided, along with economic and commercial data.

There are no pre-requisites for this course and there is no advance preparation required.

You will learn to:

  • Identify options for monetizing smaller gas resources
  • Compare the technical characteristics of numerous monetization options
  • Identify key risks of each gas monetization option
  • Recognize ongoing trends in technology development

Practice exercises and self-assessment quizzes are included to help reinforce key topics introduced throughout the course.

A comprehensive final test will be given at the end of the course.
