Gold Course The quality control and safety measures which are employed during the transfer of fuel from the point of manufacture to the aircraft are reviewed by considering specifications, additives, recent developments in laboratory methods sources of contamination, quality control, equipment and procedures. The principle of the operation of the jet engine, its environmental impact and how this is being managed is explained as well as the factors which influence the demand and availability of jet fuel. This course is delivered by a mixture of lectures, case studies, videos and discussion.
